Woodrow "Woody" L. Mayfield Obituary (1947

Georgetown, Indiana Woodrow L. 'Woody' Mayfield, 64, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN. He was born in Lanesville on December 13, 1947 the son of Ernest T., Sr. and Wilma Cochran Mayfield. He was an employee of Kitchen Kompact in Jeffersonville for 10 years, Floyd County Highway Garage for 10 years, was a dispatcher for Corydon Stone and Asphalt for 27 years and a barber for over forty years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Georgetown, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter-Josie Lynn Bruce and stepson Michael Howard Harbeson. He is survived by His wife June Ellen Dismang Mayfield of Georgetown, IN Three Sons- James N. 'Nick' Mayfield (Stacy) of Borden, IN Adam R. Harbeson (Kristina) of Elizabeth, IN Robert W. Harbeson (Michelle) of Jeffersonville, IN One Daughter-Karen Lynn Bruce (Rodney) of Corydon, IN One Brother-Ernest T. Mayfield, Jr. of Lanesville, IN Eight Grandsons and 1 Granddaughter Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Georgetown from 12 AM to 8 PM on Wednesday, 9 AM to 8 PM on Thursday and after 9 AM on Friday. There will be a Masonic service held 7:30 PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Visitation: 12 PM to 8 PM Wednesday, 9 AM to 8 PM Thursday and after 9 AM on Friday Funeral: 1 PM Friday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, I Interment: Heidelberg Cemetery
