William D. Miller

William D. Miller, 91, died Friday, September 29, 2023, in New Albany, Indiana. He was born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky on December 19, 1931, the son of Doc and Marie Isenberg Miller. He was member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Floyds Knobs. He was an army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a lifetime member of the VFW Lodge 1832 in Jeffersonville. He was a 33rd-degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite and the Shriner's in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Charlotte Farmer Miller, and grandson, Todd Moore. He is survived by his special friend, Sandra Bond of Georgetown; Daughters- Anita Moore (Donald) of Greenville, IN; Sharon Buckman (Tim) of Memphis, IN; and Deborah Harrison (Kevin) of Georgetown, IN: Brother-Roger Miller of Bowling Green, KY; 6 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. Visitation will be held 3-7 PM Wednesday and 9-11 AM Thursday at the funeral home. A burial will follow at Edwardsville Cemetery in Edwardsville, IN. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
