William "Shawn" Bierly

William S. "Shawn" Bierly, 59, passed away, Sunday, September 18, 2022, in Georgetown, Indiana. He was born September 6, 1963, the son of Bernard and Patricia Bowman Bierly. Shawn was a member of the Georgetown Christ United Methodist Church, restoring old vehicles was a hobby of his, he also enjoyed and participated in numerous church mission trips. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dale Bierly, and sister, Michelle Ireland. He is survived by his aunt, Jann Bowman, cousins, Karen Sheckell, Kevin Reed (Linda), and Donita Gould (George), and brother-in-law, Lance Ireland. Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. Burial will follow in Wolfe Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 AM until the service at 1:30 PM at the funeral home. The family requests memorial donations be sent to Christ United Methodist Church in Georgetown, Indiana.
