Wilbur Keen

Wilbur Nelson Keen, born July 31, 1935, Wilbur in Morgantown, KY passed on January 6, 2025. Having spent the majority of his life in Corydon, Indiana, Wilbur leaves behind a rich legacy. He was a devoted member of the Bethany Church in New Middletown and the American Legion. Wilbur spent over 37 years working at Louisville Gas and Electric. His dedication to his work was recognized by his peers and he was highly esteemed for his commitment and work ethic. He was not only known for his work ethic, but also his passion for Charolais cattle farming, his cattle were truly his pride and joy for years. He and his beloved wife, Virginia, celebrated 68 wonderful years of marriage since their anniversary on August 25, 1956.

Wilbur was preceded in death by his father, Russell Keen; his mother, Cora Keen; his son, Ricky Keen; his grandson, Luca Keen; his grandson, Jeremy Cundiff, and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Keen; his daughter, Phyllis Cundiff (Miles); and his grandson, Mickey Cundiff.

Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 14, 2025, and again on Wednesday at 9:00 AM until the service at 12:00 PM.

The family requests any memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
