Wallace V. Kron Obituary (1926

Elizabeth, Indiana Wallace V. Kron, 87, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN. He was born in Elizabeth, IN on May 2, 1926 the son of Bill and Mary Addie Johnson Kron. He was retired from Ford Motor Co. in Louisville after 40 years of service, attended Depauw United Methodist Church and was a WWII Navy Veteran. He is preceded in death by a brother- Lester Kron and a sister Muriel Brinley He is survived by His Wife-Ida Gerdon Kron of Elizabeth, IN One son- Allen Kron and daughter- Peggy Kron Day (Sam) both of Elizabeth, IN One Sister- LeAnna Shewmaker (Aaron) of Elizabeth, IN Three grandchildren-Natalie Kron Howell (Ryan) and Travis Kron both of New Albany, IN Steven Day (Christa) of Elizabeth, IN Four Great Grandchildren- Fielding, Jacob, Addie and Gracie. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Burial will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Corydon on Friday from 11 AM to 8 PM and after 9 AM on Saturday. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the South Harrison Community Center.
