Lanesville, Indiana Versie L. Kersey, 80, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at her home in Lanesville, Indiana. She was born April 3, 1934 in Greensburg, IN to Gerald and Thelma Mae Wiley Wood. Versie was a homemaker and was a 44 year member of Pfrimmer's Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Kersey. She is survived by her son Daniel (Autumn) Kersey of Henryville, Indiana and her daughter Marlene (Mark) Price of Greenville, Indiana, three grandsons, Tommy (Amanda) Price, Lucas Price and Hudson Kersey and one great-grandson, Waylon Price; Two brothers, Lewis Wood of St. Petersburg, FL, and Bill Wood of St. Paul, In. and one sister. Mareta Wiley of St. Paul, Indiana. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, Nov 10, at 1:00 PM at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. Pastor Tim Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday. November 9, from 1-8 PM and after 9 AM on Monday until the time of the service. Burial will be in Pfrimmer's Chapel Church Cemetery in Corydon, IN The family requests memorial donations be made to her church.
