Laconia, Indiana Tillie Welch Hawkins, 92, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Harrison County Hospital. She was born in Madison County, Kentucky on December 21, 1918 the daughter of Robert and Mattie Hunt Fletcher. She was a retired farmer and homemaker. She was a member of the Union Chapel Christian Church in Laconia. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl and a son, Earl Jr. and a daughter Wanda Johnson She is survived by One Brother- Leroy Fletcher of Richmond, KY Eight Grandchildren Sixteen Great-grandchildren Twelve Great-great grandchildren Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Bro. Bill Campbell will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Baptist Cemetery in Laconia, IN. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Corydon on Wednesday from 12 PM to 8 PM and after 9 AM on Thursday. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Memorial Baptist Cemetery.
