Shawn Allen Applegate Obituary (1970 - 2018)

Lanesville, Indiana Shawn Allen Applegate, 47, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born May 4, 1970 and resided in Lanesville. Shawn was the son of William A. and Sally L. Applegate. He was an engineer for CSX Railroad. He was active in the American Legion and loved to boat and camp with his Alton family. Besides his parents he is survived by his wife, Sherry Lynch Applegate, a son Dalton Applegate and daughter Destany Applegate all of Lanesville; his two sisters Sabrina Heavrin (Chris) of Lanesville, and Mythina Crump (Matt) of Charlestown, IN, many nieces and nephews and his grandpup "Winston". Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, February 2, 2018 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 11 AM to 8 PM Thursday and 10 AM to 11 AM Friday at the funeral home in Corydon.
