Ruth L. Byrum Obituary (1932

Corydon, Indiana Ruth L. Byrum, 82, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Kindred Transitional Care-Harrison in Corydon, Indiana. She was born in Corydon on June 21, 1932 the daughter of Kenneth H. and Thelma E. Jennings Brown. She was as accounting supervisor for Pillsbury in New Albany, Indiana for 34 years. She was a member of Corydon Christian Church Disciples of Christ and was an avid Indiana University basketball fan. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul E. Byrum, Jr. and a brother Richard S. Brown. She is survived by A niece- Linda L. Brown of Corydon, Indiana Two sisters-in-law- Monia Brown of Vine Grove, KY and Marge Poole of Ohio and Nephew Tom Poole (Sharon) also of Ohio. Her loving canine companion Attie Boo. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Corydon Christian Church. Rev. Lori Miller-Price will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 AM to 8 PM Friday, April 10, 2015 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon and on Saturday from 9 AM to 11 AM at Corydon Christian Church.
