Roy "Mr. Bradford" Metzmeier Obituary (1937 - 2023)

Georgetown, IN Roy Metzmeier "Mr. Bradford" 86, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at his home in Georgetown, Indiana. He was born May 19, 1937, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Leroy G. and Thusneldia Rosegotter Metzmeier. He became the owner and operator of Bradford Auto Electric in 1977. He was a founding member of Highland Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Charles Lee Metzmeier. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carolyn Bradford Metzmeier, of Georgetown, Indiana, son, Roy "Todd" Metzmeier (Jeanine), of Georgetown, Indiana, daughters, Carolyn Ann Southard, Sandra Gurtz (Mark), both of Georgetown, Indiana, and Patricia Beach (Marc), of Pekin, Indiana, sister, Nancy Lee Garrett, of Georgetown, Indiana, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 nieces, and 6 nephews. Funeral service will be at 12 PM Monday, December 18, 2023, at Highland Baptist Church in Georgetown, Indiana. Visitation will be Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 3 PM to 8 PM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, Indiana, and at Highland Baptist Church from 10 AM until the time of service on Monday. Burial will follow in Wolfe Cemetery.
