Rose L. Hussung Obituary (1924 - 2018)

Lanesville, Indiana Rose Louise Hussung, 93, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at her home in Lanesville. She was born December 10, 1924 in Lanesville the daughter of Henry and Alberta Feig Fachinger. She was an employee at Stan's Sewing Center in Corydon, IN and a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Georgetown, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orvil Hussung, her son Richard Hussung and her sister Mary Fachinger. She is survived by her son Jerry Hussung (Susan) of Lanesville, IN; brother Adam Fachinger of Leisure Town, NJ; sister, Evelyn Blum of Lanesville; sister-in-law, Valerie Hussung of Oxnard, CA; five grandchildren, Lisa Dings (Jonathon) of Boulder, CO; Annette Boland (Rick) of Louisville, KY, Angela Harley (Frank) of Floyds Knobs, IN, Tonya Powers (Sam) of Lanesville, IN and Bill Hussung of Huntington Beach, CA and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, June 18, 2018 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Georgetown, IN. Pastor Mark Darnstaedt will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Lanesville, IN. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Sunday, June 17, 2018 and from 9 AM to 10 AM Monday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Alzheimers Association in Memory of Orvil Hussung.
