Robert "Bobby" D. McCoy Obituary (1971 - 2020)

Robert D. "Bobby" McCoy, Jr., 49, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born August 14, 1971 in Okinawa, Japan. He was owner and operator of Bobby's Excavating-Backhoe Services. He was preceded in death by his father Robert D. McCoy, Sr. He is survived by his mother Marlene Elizabeth Albin McCoy; sisters, Paula McCoy (Donnie) and Elaine Gunther (Gary) both of Corydon, Indiana and Brenda McCoy of Shepherdsville, KY; his girlfriend, Angela DeWeese of New Albany, IN, Niece, Stacy Mattingly (Frank) and Nephews, Cody and Carson Grider, and his fur babies Derby and Brody. Funeral services will be at 1 PM Friday, December 18, 2020 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. Father Bob Mueller will officiate. Burial will be in Most Precious Blood Catholic Cemetery in New Middletown, IN. Visitation will be from 12 PM to 8 PM Thursday also at the funeral home in Georgetown. Due to Covid-19, we are allowed the maximum number of 50 in the funeral home at one time. Please wear and mask and social distance. At this time no food is to be shared in the funeral home.
