Rev. Don Darrell Haug Obituary (1938

Lanesville, IN Rev. Don Darrell Haug, 74, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany, IN. He was born September 23, 1938 in Jacksonville, FL the son of George W. and Vera Tabbert Haug. He was a minister of the gospel for 45 years in the Lutheran Ministry Missouri Synod also serving the deaf and hearing impaired congregations as well as camp ministry and hospital chaplaincy. He also volunteered as a chaplain in the Texas Civil Air Patrol. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany, IN. He is survived by His Wife- Lorraine Goulet-Haug of Canada Two Step Children- Brigitte Tepanier and Martin Tepanier both of Canada Four Daughters- Sabrina Haug of Lanesville, IN Spring Harris (Tom) of Floyds Knobs, IN Lara Lieber (Rob Cox) of Lanesville, IN Holly Bernardi (Gary) of Leavenworth, IN And their mother- Donata Haug Owsley of New Albany, IN Six Grandchildren, Two Step Grandchildren and Two Step Great Grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany. Rev. Bruce Kischnick will officiate. Burial will be in Lanesville Protestant Cemetery in Lanesville, IN Visitation will be held Tuesday, 1 PM to 8 PM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. The family suggests memorial gift be made to either Lutheran Bible Translators, Lutheran Hour Ministries or to Lutheran World Relief.
