Philip M. Gunther Obituary (1938 - 2020)

Philip M. Gunther, 82, died Monday, September 7, 2020 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born in Corydon on June 4, 1938, the son of Louis S. and Ethel Gehlbach Gunther. He retired from Kroger after over 30 years and served in the United States Air Force Reserve. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Max Eugene, James, George and Clifford. He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Ann Campbell of Jeffersonville, IN and Teresa Lynn McDowell of Louisville, KY; two Brothers, Ronald G. Gunther (Ovida LaVerne) of Jeffersonville, IN and Wayne Gunther of Corydon, IN; two Grandchildren, Kristina Lincoln and Adam McDowell and two Great Grandchildren, Kaliyah Lincoln-Madison and Kamila Lincoln. Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Visitation will be Friday 3-8 PM and Saturday 9-2 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pfrimmer's Chapel Cemetery in Corydon. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Crusade for Children.
