Pamela Marie Jones Obituary (1953 - 2023)

Corydon, Indiana Pamela Marie Jones, 69, died Sunday, January 15, 2023, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born March 9, 1953, to Jewett Smith and Edna Earl (Sorrells) Arnett. She loved her family greatly especially her grandchildren who held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and watching Indiana basketball. Pamela was a homemaker for many years before entering the workforce, as a home health aide/CNA. Once she did, she cared for her patients like they were family. Pamela is survived by 1 daughter, Bethany Danielle Luther (Dennis), of Maukport, Indiana; brother, Tim Smith (Janet), of Louisville Kentucky; Sister-in-law, Pat Smith; grandchildren, Jordan and Joshua Hill, Brian and Tyler Luther. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerry Jones, and brother, Kenneth Bruce Smith. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 19, 2023, at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. Chaplain Allen Gardner will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
