Michelle Lynn Rutherford Shields, 50, died Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the home of her parents in Georgetown, Indiana with her husband by her side. She was born July 13, 1971, in Corydon, Indiana, to Michael and Patsy Litch Rutherford. Michelle was a homemaker who loved her family and loved traveling to Las Vegas. She was an avid Red Sox baseball fan. She is survived by her husband, Jason Shields of Sellersburg; her parents, Michael, and Patsy "Pat" Rutherford of Georgetown; her brother, Michael "Mick" and his wife Leslie of Sellersburg; and her nieces, Grace and Tess Rutherford. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 17 at 11 AM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, Indiana. Visitation will be Thursday, September 16 from 1-8 PM and Friday, September 17 from 9-11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana.
