Leaetta F. Banet Obituary (1927

New Albany, Indiana Leaetta F. Banet, 86, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Lincoln Hills Nursing Home in New Albany, IN. She was born in Orange County, IN on August 19, 1927 the daughter of Monroe and Rutha M. Smith Stout. She had been a part time employee for the school in Galena working in the cafeteria and also was a housekeeper for Sheffield Apartments. She was a past member of the Scottsville Christian Church in Floyds Knobs. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond K. Banet and son Steve Banet . She is survived by Four sons- Kenneth Banet (Rose) of Georgetown, IN Ronald Banet (Debbie) of Galena, IN Glenn Banet (Tracy) of Charlestown, IN Leon Banet (Thelma) of Corydon, IN A sister- Freida Keith of New Albany, IN Twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. Burial will be in Edwardsville Cemetery in Edwardsville. Visitation will be from 1 PM 8 PM Saturday and after 9 AM 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Lincoln Hills Nursing Home in New Albany, IN.
