Lamar Miller Obituary (1938 - 2023)

Lanesville, Indiana Lamar Miller, 85, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at his home in Lanesville. He was born April 30, 1938, in Evans Landing, IN, the son of Glenn and Helen Kinzer Miller. He was a retired pipefitter for Indiana Gas and was a member of the Georgetown Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Lisa Greer, sister, Betty Denbo and grandson Corey Gilley. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Yeager Miller; daughter, Marsha Gilley (Jeff); son-in-law Kim Greer all of Lanesville, IN; grandchildren, Sandra Cable, David Gleitz, Jeffrey Gilley, II, Jennifer Gilley, Suzanne Roten and Katie Bryan; great grandchildren, Haley Wilt, Olivia Roten, Ellie Cable, John Gleitz, Anthony Gleitz, Sam Cable and Quinn Roten. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Visitation will be from 1 PM to 7 PM Saturday, October 14, 2023, and from 11 AM until the service at 2 PM at the funeral home in Corydon. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to either the American Heart Association or to Disabled Veterans.
