Corydon, Indiana Kathleen E. Alvey, 88, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Villas of Guerin Woods in Georgetown, Indiana. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on November 25. 1926 the daughter of Joseph Anthony and Letitia E. Neenan Conrad. She was an X-Ray technician at both Harrison and Washington County Hospitals. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon, Indiana. She loved reading, sewing, knitting, playing Bingo and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life her devoted husband of 61 years Thomas Alvey, 2 infant children- Charles and Marguerite Alvey, a grandson- Mathew Berry, 2 great grandchildren- Lily Curl and Mary Rose Curl, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by One Son- Thomas C. Alvey (Kathy) of Flower Mound, Texas Six Daughters- Mary Jude Curl (Steve) of Hillsboro, Oregon Kathy Holcomb (Bruce) of Sharpsburg, Georgia Letitia Berry (Rick) of Corydon, Indiana Cecilia Cooke (Tony) of Georgetown, Indiana Patti Wanzung (Dan) of Wheaton, Illinois Jackie Huff (Marty) of Missouri City, Texas 23 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon, Indiana. Father Rob Hankee, Father Juan Jose Gonzalez and Pastor Adam Berry will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, October 13, 2015 and from 11 AM to 12 PM Wednesday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to her church.
