Jean S. Kirkham Obituary (1928 - 2016)

Columbia, South Carolina Jean Schuppert Kirkham, 87, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016, 31 minutes short of her 88th birthday. She was born on March 14, 1928 the daughter of the late Frederick and Minnie Fisher Schuppert. She graduated from Corydon Central High School in 1946 with her husband to be, John T. Kirkham. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John T. Kirkham and her brother, Robert Schuppert. She is survived by Two sons-John S. Kirkham (Susan M.) of Mechanicsville, VA Jim Kirkham (Lori) of Columbia, SC Grandchildren-Jack Kirkham of Mechanicsville, VA Jenni Broadway (Will) of Atlanta, GA Jason Kirkham (Ashley) of Columbia, SC Great Grandchildren-Ryon Addison Kirkham and Reagan Jean Kirkham of Columbia. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana with burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, New York 10001, in hopes that someday this disease will no longer exist.
