Janet A. McElroy Obituary (1952 - 2017)

Elizabeth, Indiana Janet A. McElroy, 65, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd. She was born April 2, 1952 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Harold and Alice (Whittington) McElroy. Janet worked at Horseshoe Casino in security. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her partner Rachel Best, three sons, Thomas, Michael and Matthew McElroy and two daughters, Amber Augustine and Christine McElroy, one brother, Patrick McElroy. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN at 1 PM. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery in Elizabeth, IN. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 PM - 7 PM and Friday from 9 AM - 1 PM.
