James "Jim" Puckett Obituary (1933 - 2018)

Corydon, Indiana James "Jim" Puckett, 85, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon. He was born in Louisville, Ky, February 15, 1933 the son of Archie and Flossie Elkins Puckett. He was a carpenter and worked with fiberglass for Keisler Construction and a member of the old Carpenter Union 64 both of Louisville. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Billy "Pastor Bill" Puckett and two granddaughters,000000 Chrissy Lawton and Trina Gilstrap. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Cathryn Done Puckett, four sons, Jim Puckett (Sandy), Tony Puckett (Elizabeth), Tommy Puckett (Cathy) all of Corydon, IN.; Mike Puckett (Paige) of Lewisburg, TN; four daughters, Charlotte Hitner (Allen) of Milltown, IN, Sherri Conrad (Paul) of Corydon, IN, Diane Sizemore of Hardinsburg, IN and Mary Mann (Rick) of Thomasville, GA.; 23 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. Pastor Rick Wolfe will officiate. Burial will be in Perseverance Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 PM to 8 PM Friday, December 21, 2018 at the funeral home in Corydon. Pallbearers will be Paul, John, Jimmy and Jeff Conrad, Pepe Castillo and Austin Puckett.
