J.C. Walker, 96, of Corydon, died, Sunday May 31, 2026 Baptist Hospital East Hosparus in Louisville, KY. He was born June 12, 1929 in New Albany, IN to the late William and Myrtle Faye Stotts Walker. He was retired from Hobart's Manufacturing, was also a farmer and was talented in wood carpentry with superb skills with a skill saw. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving as a medic in the 15th evacuation company. J.C. was a member of the Shiloh Pilgrim Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Ola Margaret Rosenbarger Walker, son, Marcus Kevin Walker, brother, James W. Walker and sister Vernetta Miller. He is survived by his daughter Martha Hutchins (David) , Son, Eric Walker (Micheline), Grandson Zachary Walker; brothers, Jack Walker ( Juanita), Charles Walker and Alfred Walker and sister Betty Barrow (Bob). Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Pastor Mark Arnett will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the service at 2 PM also at the funeral home in Corydon, IN.
