Harry C. Hurst Obituary (1930

Brandenburg, Kentucky Harry C. Hurst, 80, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at his home. He was born in New Albany, IN on August 22, 1930 the son of Clifford and M. Louise Knott Gibson. He was a retired US Postal Service worker and a member of Corydon Christian Church. He belonged to the Moose Lodge and to the American Legion in Brandenburg. At one time he was active in the Hayswood Theatre in Corydon and had 22 years in radio. He was preceded in death by a son Scott C. Hurst He is survived by his wife Flora Anita Hurst A Son- Michael C. Hurst of Brandenburg, KY Daughter- Mary Louise 'Wheezie' Gettelfinger of Corydon, IN Step-daughter- Kristine Gailfoil of Louisville, KY Brother- Clifford L. Hurst of Chandler, AZ Three Grandchildren and Eight Step-grandchildren Funeral services will be June 6th at 2 PM at the Ft. Knox National Cemetery, Dixie Highway, Ft. Knox, Kentucky.
