Everett Colmore Pullen Jr. Obituary (1944 - 2022)

Georgetown, Indiana Everett C. Pullen, Jr, died Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at his home in Georgetown, Indiana. He was born July 3, 1944, in Rockport, Indiana to Everett C. Pullen Sr and Calma C. Hamilton, Clem. Everett was a member of Georgetown Christian Church, a member and Past President of the Georgetown Town Board, Georgetown Lion's club and an avid Pickleball player before it was cool. He retired from American Standard where he was an Enameler and was a talented Jack-Of-All-Trades. Everett had an unconditional and undying love for his wife, family, and friends; and an especially loving sweet spot for all of his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael Hall; brothers, Max Pullen and William Pullen; sisters, Cathy Cantrell and Patricia Pullen, Ray. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Pullen of Georgetown, In; sons, Chad Pullen of Kennesaw, Georgia, Mark (Lovena) Hall, David (Kim) Pullen Donald Pullen, Dennis Pullen all of Louisville, Kentucky; daughters, Cindy (Brian) Sommerville of Corydon, Indiana; Lisa Long of Georgetown, Indiana; Rebecca Pullen of Maurice, Louisiana; sister, Rebecca Faye Rice of Louisville, Kentucky; 29 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild on the way; 3 great great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild on the way, numerous nieces and nephews and his faithful canine companion of 15 years, Rocky. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with service at 6:00 PM at Georgetown Christian Church.
