Earl Wayne Langsdon, 74, formerly of Elizabeth, died Tuesday, December 31, 2019 in his home in Bicknell. He was born January 20, 1945 in New Albany, Indiana to Edward and Anna Mae Wilson Langsdon.
He worked as a Maintenance Engineer, Past President of Sons of the American Legion. He loved frog-gigging and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Melvin, Harold Langsdon and sister Loretta Sweitzer.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Bright Langsdon, daughters, Tish (Tim) Striegel of Greenville, Indiana; Angie (Butch) Masterson of Bicknell, Indiana; Waynette (Jeff) Adams of Elizabeth Indiana; sister, Laura Mae (Dennis) Zink of Clarksville, Indiana, 9 grandchildren, Shelly Timberlake, Michelle Barnes, Nathan Striegel, Amanda Cockerill, Jessica Tague,Rachel McAleese, Logan Adams,, Tara Choate, Wade Adams; and 18 great-grandchildren, Lexi, Caleb, Lucy, Claira, Allison, Michael, Levi, Gracie, William, Zoey, Conner, Gabby, Cole Michael, Asa, Zane, Hunter, Anna and Abby.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM Sunday, January 5 until 8:00 PM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana and again on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of the service.
Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery in Elizabeth. Indiana
