DATELINE: Corydon Doris Laverne Lynch, 83, died Sunday, June 26 at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born in Louisville on July 26, 1927, the daughter of Robert Lee and Ethel Mathena Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Corydon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert. Survivors include: One son James Robert Lynch of Corydon Seven Daughters Janet Laverne Beach of Louisville, KY Suzanne Sharon Hart (Otis) of Louisville, KY Diana L. Holley (Vernon) of Louisville, KY Deborah L. Cummings of Louisville, KY Terry Jean Haendiges (Kevin) of Palmyra, IN Bonnie L. Smith (Richard) of Central, IN Connie S. Gann (Kenny) of Louisville, KY One sister Nancy Kirby of Mauckport, IN 28 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 29 at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Ed Waters will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday 3-8 PM and Wednesday 9-11 AM. Burial will be in Blue River Chapel Cemetery near Corydon. Pallbearers will be Jason Wright, Paul Wright, James Lynch, Jr., Robert Lynch, Ralph Lynch and Anthony Smith.
