Donna Pauley

Donna Pauley, 61, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly, on Saturday, October 24, 2026. She was born on December 21, 1964, on Homestead Air Force base, the daughter of Winston and Marie (Winklbauer) Simpson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and one grandchild, Marlo Pauley.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 41 years, Rick Pauley, son, Nicholas (Lacey) Pauley, daughter Bethany (Ryan) Lefler; Grammy of 7: Naomi Lefler, Sebashtien Pauley, Theodore Lefler, Evelyn Pauley, Eleanor Lefler, Oliver “Ollie” Pauley, and Lachlan Lefler, sister, Dawn Overall, and she was “Nina” to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She also leaves behind her canine companions, Fezzik & Dread.

Donna was a generous and devoted woman who cared deeply for others. When she loved someone, she loved them with her whole heart. Her faith in Jesus was an important part of her life, and she shared that love through her kindness, compassion, and dedication to helping raise countless children. She touched many lives and left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home (318 East Chestnut Street, Corydon, Indiana 47112).
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Friday, October 30, 2026, and again Saturday morning from 11:00 AM until the service time of 1:00 PM, all at the funeral home in Corydon.
