Deborah Samons

Deborah Ann Samons passed way Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Green Valley Care Center. She was born on Monday, October 4, 1954, the daughter of Earl Cruse and Margaret Lynch. Deborah was very creative with crafts. She once owned her own craft store and could often be found painting or creating artwork. Deborah loved her family more than anything, especially the grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and one grandchild, Nathaniel.

She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Galen Samons, children: Brandi Roberts (David), Shelby Bruner (Nathaniel), Kevin Samons (Jill), Kelly Samons (Nancy), Kris Samons (Becky), Kyle Samons (Rebekah), grandchildren: Madison, Devin, JT, Nicole, Steven, Lucas, Jake (Penny), Marissa (Peter), Christopher (April), Cassandra (Devin), Katrinia (Jacob), Elliott, Hudson, Cy, Elizabeth, Aubrey, Karter, Becket, and several great grandchildren, two brothers, Mike Cruse and Kenny Cruse, one sister Julie Henderson, as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of extended family.

Funeral service was held at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home (7420 Highway 64, Georgetown, Indiana 47122).

Visitation was from 4 PM until 7 PM on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the funeral home.
