Daniel Pickens, Sr. Obituary (1951 - 2021)

Daniel Pickens, Sr., 70, died Sunday, May 23, 2021 at his home in Palmyra, IN. He was born in Columbus, OH on March 6, 1951, the son of John L. and Ruth Ann Radcliff Pickens. He was a United States Army Veteran and a retired Louisville Metro Police Officer. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Diana Kay Johnson Pickens and brother, Darryl Pickens. He is survived by 2 sons, Timothy Pickens (Jennifer) and Daniel E. Pickens, Jr. (Autumn), both of Louisville, KY; 3 daughters, Kimberly Eisenback (James) of Georgetown, IN, Danyelle Nally (Andrew) of Louisville, KY, and Jamie Ewing (Richard) of Louisville, KY; 3 brothers, John L. Pickens (Linda) of Oroville, CA, Richard Allen Pickens (Annette) of Hilliard, OH, and Gilbert Pickens of Bowling Green, KY; one sister, Cheryl Skinner (Jim) of Kuna, ID; 24 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, IN. Visitation will be Friday from 11 AM until 1 PM. Pastor Ricky Moon will officiate. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 1:30 PM.
