Dale Jeffrey Long, 60, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at Hospice Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born October 11, 1956 in Warren, Ohio the son of Nicholas and Mary Dale Long. He was a 10 year veteran of the United State Marine Corps and pilot as an A-300 Capitan for the United Parcel Service for 26 years and previously attended Georgetown Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Evangeline Ruth Larson Long of Floyds Knobs; three sons-Kyle Jeffrey Long of Indianapolis, IN and Nicholas Alexander Long and Kurt Joseph Long (Victoria) both of Floyds Knobs; one sister, Barbara Greenamyer (Steve) of Paris, KY and a grandson, Killian Joseph Long. A memorial service will be at 6 PM Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown, Indiana. Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 3 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home in Georgetown. The family requests no floral arrangements, but prefers memorial gifts to be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
