Clifford Earl Lowe, Sr. Obituary (1939 - 2017)

Corydon, Indiana Clifford Earl Lowe, Sr., 78, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017at Kindred Hospital at Jewish in Louisville, KY. He was born February 3, 1939 in Corydon the son of Wesley Edward and Georgia Anna Cox Lowe. He was a graduate of Corydon Central High School class of 1957. In his early years right after high school, he worked at the old Keller Manufacturing, he later was the owner and operator with his wife Carolyn, C & C Dairy Distributers, Inc., the company named for the first letter of their first names. They distributed Sealtest and dairy products to all the schools, homes and businesses in the area. He has set milk on every porch in the town of Corydon. He later owned and operated Lowe's Real Log Homes. He loved traveling thru the west through Montana and Colorado and other western states. He was a member of Unity Chapel United Methodist Church in Ramsey, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Thelma Lowe Frank. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Kintner Lowe of Corydon, IN; his daughter Chrissie J. Lowe of Sellersburg, IN; two sons, Clifford E. Lowe, Jr. (Katie) and Christopher K. Lowe both of Corydon; two sisters, Violet Eckart (Charles) and Mary Lou Kitterman both of Corydon, four grandchildren, Gabrielle VanGenderen (Zachary), Brittany, Tristian and Elizabeth Lowe. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home Corydon. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 8 PM Friday, December 8, 2017 and from 10 AM to 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Clifford request that there be no suits and ties, just wear your everyday clothes for both visitation and funeral services. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to Potato Run Cemetery.
