Corydon, Indiana Clarinda F. Pitts, 55, passed away Saturday, November 09, 2013 at Indian Creek Transitional Care Center in Corydon, IN. She was born in Corydon on August 19, 1958. She was an administrative assistant at the Harrison County Public Library, a member of the Corydon Central High School Adult Booster Club and the Corydon United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother Jane Mauck Burch. She is survived by Her husband- James M. Pitts of Corydon, IN Two Sons- Brent Stonecipher of Houston, Texas Jacob Pitts of Corydon, IN Three Daughters- Katie, Molly and Jenny Pitts all of Corydon, IN Her father and stepmother-Charles and Emily Burch of Greenwood, IN Two Brothers- Kevin Burch (Alisa) of Corydon, IN Bruce Burch (Beth) of Bloomington, IN One Sister- Valerie Burch of Corydon, IN 1 Grandchild-Violet Stonecipher Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Adam Roe will officiate. Burial will be in Heidelburg Cemetery near Corydon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Corydon on Monday from 11AM to 8 PM and after 10 AM on Tuesday. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to either the Harrison County Public Library or to CCHS Adult Booster Club.
