Carol A. Pittman Obituary (1955 - 2023)

Corydon, Indiana Carol A. Pittman, 68, passed away, Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at her home in Corydon, Indiana. She was born March 9, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of John and Connie Brocktus Gilbert. Carol enjoyed playing cards and any game that included dice, she especially loved going to Vegas. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Cory Pittman, and brother, Billy Gilbert. She is survived by her husband, Don L. Pittman, of Corydon, Indiana, sons, Jack Haywood, Gary Haywood Jr., John Pittman Sr., John Pittman Jr., Cody Pittman, Donnie Pittman, all of Corydon, Indiana, Dylan Pittman, of Palmyra, Indiana, daughters, April Ohara, and Hannah Pittman, both of New Salisbury, Indiana, Bonnie Pittman, Hope Pittman, of Corydon, Indiana, Nora Spencer, of Charlestown, Indiana, Jonell Jernigan, of Edna Texas, brothers, John Gilbert Jr., and Rickey Gilbert, sister, Florence Altman, of Daytona Beach, Florida, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1 PM Monday, November 6, 2023, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Pastor Paul Greer will officiate. Burial will follow in Grable Cemetery in Corydon. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of service on Monday.
