Corydon, IN B. Jeanette Downs Roberts, 85, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at her home in Corydon, IN surrounded by family. She was born May 2, 1934 in Loretta, KY the daughter of James A. and Mamie Tharp Downs. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon, IN. She is preceded in death by her parents; Stepfather, James "Burt" Mattingly; her husband, the late Joseph W. Roberts and Sister, Sandy Kendall. She is survived by five sons, Joseph R. Roberts (Diane) of Sellersburg, IN, Stephen A. Roberts (Janet) of Hayes, VA, Terry M. Roberts, Darryl L. Roberts (April), Ronnie Roberts (Michele) all of Corydon; one brother, James "Larry" Mattingly of Palmyra, IN; two sisters, Betty Wilson (Dave) and Della Mae Eldridge both of Corydon, IN; Brother in Law, Bev Kendall, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Arrangements are private, but a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN so that everyone can celebrate her life.
