Anoi Jewell Pearl Obituary (1926

Corydon, Indiana Anoi Jewell Pearl, 89, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at Kindred Transitional Care-Harrison. She was born January 25, 1926 in New Amsterdam, Indiana the daughter of David and Lorraine Coffman Shireman. She was co-owner and operator of the Ideal Restaurant for almost 30 years in Corydon. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church and the VFW Ladies Auxillary both in Corydon. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson Brent Richardson and brothers- David and James 'Dute' Shireman. She is survived by Her husband- John Pearl of Corydon, Indiana Son- Ronnie Kirkham (Myra) of Corydon, Indiana Stepson-Curtis Pearl (Cathy) of St. Cloud, Florida Daughter- Kathy Pierce of Elizabethtown, Kentucky Step-Daughter- Dottie Trivett (Larry) of Central, Indiana Grandchildren-Kim Sarles, Scot Richardson, Shawn and Greg Pearl Great Grandchildren-Josh and Jonathan Sarles, Andrew and Avery Richardson, Nicholas and Maxwell Pearl. Great Great Granchildren-Collin and Blake Sarles Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. Rev. Scott Blesset will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 PM to 8 PM Wednesday, March 11, 2015 and on Thursday from 11 AM to 2 PM at the funeral home in Corydon. Pallbearers will be Shawn and Greg Pearl, Jeff, Jonathan and Josh Sarles and Scot Richardson. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to either the Alzheimers Association or to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
