Andy Wayne Parnell Obituary (1960 - 2023)

Andy Wayne Parnell, 63, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born October 12, 1960, the son of Oagle Parnell and Ruby Shickles Barns. Wayne worked for many years at Tyson in the feed production area. He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Carolyn Ann Hill Parnell, his mother, Ruby Barns, 3 sons: Matthew Parnell of Colorado, James Parnell of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Chris Hill of Jeffersonville, Indiana, one daughter, Shayne Rhodes of Charlestown, Indiana, 5 grandchildren: Jordan Hill, Josh Hill, Cheyenne Parnell, Athena Parnell, and Elinore Rhondes, 3 sisters: Wanda Rawley of Corydon, Indiana, Reba Grounds (Jim) of Mooresville, Indiana, and Delane Hunter of Mooresville, Indiana as well as Several nieces, nephews and extended family. Per the family's request, cremation was chosen, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
