Laura Bruner Morris Obituary (1964 - 2022)

New Middletown, IN Laura "Lori" Bruner Morris, 57, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Norton's Women and Children's Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born September 3, 1964 in Louisville, KY the daughter of Chester and Carolyn Henize Bruner. She was a Loan Processer at First Harrison Bank in Corydon, IN. She was also a valuable partner in marriage and business as she assisted her husband with their family business, Steve Morris Auctions, a wonderful Mother and incredible Nana who never missed anything that involved her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dwayne and Michael Bruner. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Steve Morris of New Middletown, IN; two daughters, Brittany Hibbs (Jeremy) and Amber Morris, both of Corydon, IN; two sisters, Jenny Barbour (Tony) of Owensboro, KY and Becky Wright (Barry) of New Albany, IN; five grandchildren, Rylee, Hayden, Abby and Harper Hibbs and Holden Morris as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral ceremony will be held for Laura on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 11 AM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. Rev. Andy Hansen will officiate. Cremation will follow the ceremony. Honorary Pall Bearer's will be grandchildren, Rylee, Hayden, Abby and Harper Hibbs and Holden Morris and nephews, Brandon and Jacob Perez. Visitation will begin Thursday, March 24, 2022 from Noon until 8 PM at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. It will continue on Friday from 9 AM until the funeral at 11 AM at the funeral home. The family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
