Adamay Ruth Patton Clark Obituary (1946 - 2022)

Adamay Ruth Patton Clark, 76, born August 5, 1946, in Little Mount, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2022, with family and friends at home in Corydon, Indiana. She is survived by her husband Earl Clark, daughter Kimberly and Son in law Jason Smith, nieces, nephews, and a million wonderful friends who are family. Ruthie loved her flower garden, vegetable garden, making flower arrangements, cooking, traveling, visiting with friends and her church family, and writing poetry. She was published in numerous poetry books, published her own poetry book, and won several poetry awards. She was a member and deacon of the Palmyra Graceland Baptist Church in Palmyra, Indiana where she formerly lived for 45 years before moving to Corydon. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 1:00 PM. Pastors Joe Pike, Jon Pearce, and Tim Bitz will preside. Burial will follow in Edwardsville Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana. Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM Friday, September 9, 2022, and Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral home in Corydon, IN.
